JD Edwards Specialist | Otis Elevator Co/United Technologies | Tucson, AZ JD Edwards Fuctional Specialists - Manufacturing(1); Distribution (1) These positions will be responsible for providing technical support for the installation of the J D Edwards ERP system. One position will focus on distribution and the other on manufacturing related processes and applications. The positions will provide a critical bridge between functional business customers and Information Technologies. Working with Oracle/ JD Edwards applications the positions will participate on cross functional teams in the development and implementation of cost effective systems that support critical business processes including manufacturing, shop floor control, inventory, sales order, and purchase order management and general Ledger. The positions will be responsible for meeting project schedules as well as working within budget parameters while delivering quality solutions that meet the requirements of the business on an on-going basis. The positions will be responsible for leading test activities at implementation and at the time of upgrades and for developing documented procedures, process flows, controls and training plans that will ensure the ongoing functionality of the JD Edwards system. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology (or related field) or equivalent experience required. A graduate degree in a relevant discipline or MIS is highly preferable. Prior Experience: The incumbent should have minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in financial and information systems management within a multinational company with expertise in many of the following areas: sales order, manufacturing resource planning, procure-to-pay, inventory, product data management, shop floor control, configurator and general ledger. Special knowledge skills: Must possess excellent communications skills and be able to effectively lead and work within a cross-functional team environment.
